My healing journey
I grew up in a dysfunctional family. For many generations my ancestors had been stuck in a circle of destructive thinking patterns and behaviors. Not only did they hurt themselves but also others, including their children.
When I was a child, I felt like an outsider in my family and society. I did not fit in, had very strong opinions and wanted to follow my intuition. As this wasn’t received very well, I felt forsaken and desperate. I didn’t know where I belonged. And most of all; I suffered from solitude. I adopted the belief that the expression of my emotions was not welcomed in this world, that I need to be strong and keep my weaknesses and feelings to myself.
The connection to my intuition was never broken. This led me to follow my dream to become a photographer, filmmaker, artist and president of a non-profit-organization. I was a successful creator and achiever, who won awards and recognition for her work. But at the same time, my deep-rooted core believes made me feel completely alone, which I never dared to express to anyone.
That’s how I lived my life for many years and that caused intense phases of depression. I tried to distract myself by helping others to ease their problems. For short periods this felt rewarding, but it never lasted. I was trying to “fix” the outside world, when in fact the outside was simply a reflection of my inside. I was helping others and deep inside I desired that somebody would help me to get out of my own mess.
There were moments, I felt like a victim and pitied myself about my past, my traumatic childhood and for being all alone. Thinking about myself that I wasn’t good enough or not worthy to be loved because of the mistakes I had committed, I unconsciously drew many people into my life who confirmed my patterns. Unaware of my behavior, I would also treat others the same way, constantly criticizing them for not living and acting out their full potential. I was being sucked into a downward spiral of pity, sadness and unexpressed anger, which led me to start several different unsuccessful therapies.
I went on a long journey and became a guinea pig for healing my depression and shining light on my shadows. I tried out every method I could find, changed my diet, worked with spiritual plants and teachers, went on workshops, read books and used tarot cards to connect to my subconscious.
My life became a wonderful and adventurous journey in which I learned how to heal myself by transforming old thinking patterns and core beliefs that were blocking the access to the most natural state of the human race; love.
I filled the hole of emptiness inside of me with abundance. Today I know that I am welcomed in this world, needed and appreciated. I am the creator of my own destiny.
Some days I still struggle after forgetting the lessons that I have learned, but I quickly remember that every pain you get in life just needs to be felt and acknowledged. I am conscious enough to see and notice that my thoughts are not the real “me” and that negativity is not there to be destroyed or resisted, but needed as a powerful motor on the road to self-discovery.
At present, I am using the processes that worked best for me on others to assist them on their healing path and guide them to find their bliss, self-love and approval for their unique story and emotions.
How do I work?

Our most natural state is love. Look at children, how they perceive and experience the world with ease and full of light. But at some point this fascination for life decreases because we need to adapt to fit into a society that is sick at its root. We cultivate unhealthy core beliefs and thinking patterns, which are vital for our protection and/or survival as a child. But when we think a thought long enough, it becomes so normal that we become unconscious of it. Later in life, we cannot change our reality if we do not become aware of these deep-rooted convictions.
My work methods are very tender, highly intuitive and go to the root of the problem that usually lies in a core belief created in a difficult situation in your childhood. I work with tarot, subconscious question techniques, the Completion Process created by Teal Swan, diet plans for spiritual awareness and life coaching. If you work with me, I will guide you to more understanding about yourself, help you to love your shadow aspects and give your negative emotions what they need: presence.
We are the creator of your world. Your thinking is powerful. And your thinking has been influenced by all the experiences you have had in the past. Traumas from your childhood have been converted into your shadow, which presents itself in destructive thinking patterns that linger on later in life because the mind wants to protect you from more pain. But there is no real protection from pain; there is only resistance to it. By trying to eliminate it from your life, you are giving it importance and therefore attracting it.
It is that simple: Fear attracts fearful situations. Love attracts kind situations. And there are only those two feelings in our universe. All other feelings are just twigs of the same two branches: Hate, anger, sadness, and depression are all caused by fear. Bliss, joy, inner peace, and friendship are all caused by love. So how do you get rid of your fear? By facing it, by accepting it, by becoming one with it, by loving your fear.
Understand that you are already perfect the way you are. You are not here to improve yourself, to become a better version of yourself. The sun in your heart has always shined very brightly. There are simply a few clouds obscuring the sunrays. These clouds are your shadow side. These clouds are your thinking patterns that cause harm in your life. If you force the clouds away, more will come. But if you get to know them without judgment, if you start understanding their reason for existence and learn to love them, your sun will start shining through them.
A wonderful explanation by Teal Swan: “Shadow work is now a term used often in spiritual and psychology circles to describe any process (of which there are thousands) that makes the subconscious conscious. The more aware you are of your shadow, the more embodied you are as a conscious being. And no one ever reached enlightenment without confronting their shadow and exposing it to the light of consciousness. Ultimately, shadow work is bringing attention and love to those things that have been previously rejected. And so, if you ask me, shadow work is in fact the highest form of light work you can do.”
I am convinced that whatever you resist persists.

The Completion Process
The Completion Process is a unique tool that was developed by world renown spiritual teacher, Teal Swan. It is used to heal trauma, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and stored emotion both known and unknown, and helps you to discover yourself.
Drawing on her wide range of extrasensory abilities and incorporating key aspects of inner child and shadow work, Teal created a revolutionary 20-step process for healing any past hurt or present problem.
By beginning to heal trauma, a person can live a more free and joyous life, fully capable of all that is desired. When this occurs, life becomes incredible! It is a process that takes serious commitment as well as the desire to work deeply with trauma in order to heal.

How the Completion Process Works:
The Completion Process works by reintegrating fractured aspects of the self, which have been disassociated usually in our childhood at the time of a traumatic experience. When we were children and experienced a situation too difficult to cope with or if it was simply not allowed to feel a certain emotion, we disassociate one or several aspects of our self. In adulthood subconscious memories run in the background of our day-to-day life and we attract situations into our lives that will trigger the same emotion that was suppressed in the original trauma.
Until we are ready to go back and explore ourselves completely, it can be very difficult to heal ourselves. I know this from both personal and professional experience. It’s important to go back to the roots of the problem instead of treating the symptoms.
When we allow trauma to come forward and communicate with us in a safe way, it is receiving what it wanted in the first place, our unconditional presence. We can then work with the subconscious experience to recreate a conscious experience. As we bring this presence to the subconscious mind and surrender to the emotion, we let go of old patterns that no longer serve us. We take the brave journey back in time to our distant memories, experience what they have to show us, and use the power of the mind to reshape our reality. When the vibration that was stored in the feeling of a distant memory, is changed, our conscious experience shifts also. This is how the Completion Process works and it is how we can start feeling like whole again!
The 20 steps include: Creation of a Safe Haven – setting up a peaceful place in our mind where it’s safe to re-enter a painful memory; Validation – giving the painful emotion the message that we see it as valid; Seeking Origin – asking, ‘When was the first time I felt this feeling?’ and trying to connect to the root of it; Awaiting Relief – inside the memory, letting the feeling naturally shift in the direction of relief; Purification and Healing – a ritual for closing the memory of trauma and beginning a ‘new life’.
The Completion Process will leave you with a stronger sense of your value in the world and the assurance that life can be good again.

While some may assume that trauma only occurs in extreme acts of violence or abuse, it is becoming more evident that this is not the case. We have all experienced some level of trauma. No experience is too small or too large to heal from.
In fact, nearly everyone has unidentified or suppressed trauma which began in childhood. The reason for this is that the childhood self experiences the world quite differently than the adult self. Everything from losing a favorite stuffed animal to sexual abuse is felt as a trauma to this younger self.

I hardly ever ask the cards what the future holds because I believe that the future is changeable depending on the decisions we make in the present. I prefer to ask what I can do to reach a specific goal or state of mind and interpret the cards as pointers to practical steps about how to move forward in life. In that way it helps to give a different perspective on things, which is a very similar approach to what a good therapist would use.
